Sean Rasmussen: Gentleman and Internet Marketer Extraordinaire

“What? Another Internet Marketing Guru! These guys are a dime a dozen, polluting the Internet as self-proclaimed experts with their hands out for your money.  #%@&*^$#!

These were my first thoughts when I came across Sean Rasmussen a couple of years ago. Wow, was I wrong. As I started to connect with people in Australia via Social Networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and others I saw a great deal of respect and admiration being expressed about Sean and I came to realize that Sean Rasmussen stood tall amongst the rest. He was a man to ride the river with. Sean believes in paying forward. He provides an untold wealth of informative articles on his blogs. If you are at all interested in Internet Marketing, Sean Rasmussen’s blogs are the place to start your research.

A Bit About Sean Rasmussen

Sean Rasmussen is an Internet Marketer who resides in Bunbury, Western Australia with his wife, Cherie, and their children. To quote Sean, he is

“a proud product of Australian Internet Marketing. It enabled me to break away from the Rat Race and start enjoying life with my family the way life was supposed to be. Since 2004 I have sold over $7M of product online as an Affiliate Marketer.

Sean also happens to be a big Clint Eastwood fan and some say he looks a lot like Clint.

Which One Is Sean?

Honesty And Integrity

One thing that I noticed right from the start is that Sean stresses honesty and integrity in Internet Marketing. He is strongly opposed to the so called “black hat” tricks and techniques.

Mutliple Areas of Expertise

Sean Rasmussen’s areas of expertise are not restricted to Internet Marketing. He has numerous blogs on which he offers advice and information. These are only a few:

Year Of The Affiliate (YOTA)

Along with all his other pursuits, Sean Rasmussen still finds time to educate and mentor potential Internet Marketers through his Year Of The Affiliate program.

Sean Rasmussen On YouTube

Sean has developed a significant presence on YouTube. Sean Rasmussen’s YouTube Channel gives you access to many informative, as well as personal, videos. Amongst my favourites are those of the Malolo Island Bula Band.

The Channel also contains a series of videos about Replacing Your Income Online. The videos resulted from an interview with Aussie copywriter Alexi Neocleous in 2009.
This is the first video in the series .

The Real Reason

I must admit now to the real reason I’ve become a dedicated fan of Sean Rasmussen. It’s because he “friended” the Grateful We’re Not Dead YouTube Channel. And someone who will do that has to be a good guy.

What’s To Come

You never know what secrets we’ll uncover about Sean as we continue to follow his musing and writings. Are there any deep, dark secrets the he doesn’t want revealed? Does the black hat in the Clint “look-a-like” photo have any nefarious significance? The only way to know is to check back on a regular basis. Only time will tell!

Thank you all for your kind comments. It’s been fun doing this.

It took a bit longer than usual seeing as I had to learn WordPress as I went along. Normally I’d be using Joomla or Drupal. But it’s always good to have as many skills as possible under your belt – even at my age. :)

And of course I had to get a plug in there for Grateful We’re Not Dead. Maybe Sean could sponsor our Great Australian Tour to a local pub in his neighbourhood.

Sean Rasmussen is one of the major players in online marketing and has made over 6 million dollars using his marketing strategies online. Sean is the most ethical internet marketer I have ever been associated with. Here is a short video that shows Sean on holiday in Fiji which might seem unrelated but gives and idea of how down to earth and approachable Sean is.

Great blog it’s not often that I comment but I felt you deserve it.
